Test hardware emulators and serial port softwareVirtual Serial Port Driver Mobile lets you easily test serial device emulators and software tools that work with serial ports: just create a pair of virtual ports, say COM3 - COM4; open COM3 with terminal, and open COM4 with your software tool (or vice versa). Bingo - now the two programs can exchange serial data as if they were connected with a null modem cable. |

Disable existing serial ports and add new onesThe Windows Mobile platform provides you with a limited number of serial ports (COM0 - COM9). However, this may be insufficient for your purposes, especially if some of the ports are already in use. There's an easy way to solve the problem: just disable the existing serial ports and create virtual ones instead. |
