Virtual Modem PRO creates software virtual IP-modems that fully emulate standard hardware modems and support Hayes AT commands. But instead of using conventional telephone line they use Ethernet network, including Internet, VLAN, VPN, etc. This results in many benefits from using Eltima Virtual Modem PRO, among which are speed and reliability of transmitted data (since it uses fast Ethernet network and reliable TCP/IP protocol) and a considerable number of up to 255 modems that can be created in any system. Moreover, it saves you money on additional modem hardware and phone lines that you would otherwise need for ordinary modem connection.
